Cable's General Store
Cables General Store is here to serve our surrounding community as well as the visitors to our corner of the world. If you don’t see it on the shelves feel free to ask we will always help out a neighbor. Cables is a place to gather, share information, have delicious food and enjoy PA! Established by entrepreneur Clark Cable in 1910 the building acted as the General Store as well as local Barber Shop. The store sits next to the D&H Rail Trail head where bikers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the river in our backyard, refurbished train caboose and relax out back on the Adirondack chairs. Our family looks forward to continuing the tradition of Cables General Store by providing homemade foods, provisions and take away foods.
We go straight for the belly and serve up a heaping helping of hospitality.
